The UC Davis Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics provides advanced education in agricultural economics, global development studies, and environmental/natural resource economics. Our challenging yet supportive graduate program allows students to pursue a dual degree, earning both an MBA from the Graduate School of Management and an MS in Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) within three years. Participants fulfill all requirements for both degrees, with up to 12 shared units counting toward both programs. The joint degree typically requires 96-108 units total, combining the ARE Plan II MS's 36-unit requirement with the MBA's 72-unit curriculum.
