The Nutritional Biology Graduate Group is an interdisciplinary initiative that equips students with essential skills for advanced nutrition research. Faculty from diverse colleges—including Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Medicine, and Veterinary Medicine—offer expertise across numerous specialties. Students can explore topics such as nutritional biochemistry, clinical nutrition, metabolic studies, dietary impacts on health, and global nutrition challenges.
Enrolled students gain access to the Institute for Global Nutrition (IGN), including its seminar series. Doctoral candidates may pursue a Designated Emphasis in Global Nutrition, which complements their degree with approximately 15 additional credits while sharing some coursework with their primary specialization.
