Students acquire in-depth expertise in the principles, approaches, and investigations that form the foundation for enhancing comprehension of human growth from a multidisciplinary viewpoint. The curriculum 1) integrates exploration of biological, intellectual, and socio-emotional developmental aspects, 2) structures the examination of human maturation throughout the entire lifespan from birth to old age, and 3) highlights the contextual factors influencing development, encompassing cultural systems like families, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities, environmental factors tied to diet, wellness, and illness, plus societal and legislative frameworks impacting growth. Graduates develop both quantitative and qualitative competencies suitable for professions in academic research and instruction, program management, advisory roles, initiative design, and more, across diverse sectors including education, healthcare, psychological services, community health, social welfare, and public policy. Our offerings include a two-year Master of Science degree and a five-year doctoral program. These educational tracks provide comprehensive, cross-disciplinary analysis of cognitive and social-emotional progression from early childhood to teenage years (MS) and extending into mature adulthood (PhD).
