Researchers specializing in Health Communication examine how health-related information is created and shared across various platforms, including traditional media, digital networks, and interpersonal interactions, and its impact on thoughts, feelings, and actions. This discipline investigates media influences on health through entertainment content, news reports, and promotional materials, as well as the role of personal relationships and social circles in shaping health behaviors. It also explores strategic health campaigns using both conventional media and emerging digital tools (such as mobile applications and educational games), along with doctor-patient interactions in clinical environments. Our program provides interdisciplinary health communication education, incorporating insights from experts in media studies, population health, medical practice, and developmental psychology. Students are urged to leverage our faculty's diverse knowledge and research opportunities through cooperative projects.
