Qualification Requirements

At least a B (3.0) grade-point average or equivalent in work completed in the last two years of a bachelor's degree program and in all post-baccalaureate course work. All applicants are required to submit valid GRE scores. Minimum Scores Required Toefl Paper: 570, Toefl Internet (iBT): 90. As an alternative to the TOEFL, you can submit IELTS scores. IELTS scores are valid for 2 years. Minimum score required is 7. You will need to upload both your Statement of Purpose and Personal History Statement to the SOPHAS application. We require three (3) letters of recommendation to be submitted electronically via the SOPHAS application. You are required to upload an updated CV/resume to your SOPHAS application. Official World Education Services (WES) Evaluations of international transcripts are required to be sent to SOPHAS. Common work experience for admitted applicants: Typical successful applicants have work experience in Research Assistant positions at a health department. Previous coursework in calculus and linear algebra is suggested.
