The Law and Economics Program creates a cross-disciplinary platform for research in business law and economic legal studies. Renowned as a leading center for undergraduate and graduate education in these areas, Berkeley's initiative stands out for its distinguished faculty and wide-ranging interdisciplinary approach. The program leverages knowledge from diverse academic units, including the Law School, Public Policy School, Business School, College of Natural Resources, Economics Department, Agricultural and Resource Economics Department, and the Jurisprudence and Social Policy (JSP) Graduate Program. Its course offerings, workshops, and seminars support graduate students across campus and attract international visiting scholars. Additionally, the program maintains a working paper series that showcases research from both campus-based academics and global visiting experts.
