Personality psychology focuses on how people perceive, respond to, and make sense of their environments while developing adaptive life strategies. Our laboratory research combines rigorous controlled experiments to identify causal relationships with observational studies that track psychological phenomena as they naturally occur in daily life and evolve over time.
