MELC provides language courses in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Turkish, along with ancient scripts including Egyptian hieroglyphs, Sumerian cuneiform, Akkadian, and Aramaic. Learners can investigate the interconnected civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and surrounding regions, while also studying contemporary Middle Eastern literature and diverse cultural expressions. The curriculum encompasses both pre-modern and modern Jewish, Christian, and Islamic traditions.
