The School of Management uses a test-optional admissions process for our Master of Science programs. You have the option to submit GMAT or GRE scores in support of your application, but are not required to do so. 

Personal Statement

Submit a personal statement, including your reasons for pursuing the MS degree and your career aspirations. Your statement should be uploaded as a PDF. Be sure to include your full name — identical to that used on the application. Document length should be approximately 700 words.

Transcripts

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for initial admission review. Transcripts must be uploaded via your Application Status portal in PDF format. Be sure to include both sides of any double-sided pages of your transcripts.

  • If you have attended multiple institutions, you must submit transcripts from each institution attended.
  • Transfer credits indicated on transcripts where the credit was not originally earned cannot be accepted in lieu of the transcript where the credit was originally earned.
  • Current UB students and alumni who transferred to UB do NOT have to submit all transfer credit transcripts again. Those transcripts are already on record at UB. Current UB students must upload a copy of their current Academic Advisement Report in addition to their UB transcript.
  • Transcripts not issued in English must be accompanied by official English translations, either provided by the transcript-issuing institution or a recognized translation service.
  • Applicants who have completed studies at Indian universities are asked to upload copies of degree certificates or provisional degree certificates along with transcripts / marksheets.

International applicants must have completed an academic program equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree prior to enrolling. Students may apply during the final year of such a degree program, but must furnish proof of graduation before the end of the first semester of enrollment.
