The Master of Science in Engineering Science with a Robotics concentration delivers an interdisciplinary program that prepares students with extensive robotics and automation education. This curriculum develops the competencies needed for diverse career paths in electronics and computing sectors while also establishing a strong base for potential PhD studies. The program's coursework spans multiple robotics disciplines such as system integration, motion control engineering, electromechanical design, sensor technology, automated systems, and AI applications. Through this comprehensive approach, students acquire both hands-on skills and conceptual knowledge to tackle evolving industry demands and technological progress.
To apply to the Engineering Science (Robotics) MS program, students should have a background or related coursework in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or a related physical science or engineering field. A strong background in math topics such as linear algebra, probability, numerical analysis and optimization, and associated programming experience is a bonus. Further, prior background in robotics is also a bonus.
