The Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering provides students with an in-depth understanding of modern industry topics while preparing them for both theoretical and practical research in the field. The curriculum features multiple specialization areas such as AI and machine learning, systems development, and a research-focused pathway that allows for customized projects or guided academic investigation.
First-year students may be admitted into either the MS or the PhD program. Normally, students with a master's degree in computer science and engineering (and some other students upon the recommendation of the Graduate Admissions Committee) are admitted directly into the PhD program.
