Pursuing graduate studies in biomedical informatics offers comprehensive training in assessing and overseeing information management systems within healthcare and biomedical research environments. Graduates will gain the expertise needed for leadership roles in technology, policy, or strategic planning across healthcare, industry, or research sectors. Faculty research spans diverse areas such as clinical decision support, bioinformatics and translational research informatics, biomedical ontologies, population and public health informatics, as well as the human-centered design of biomedical information systems.
