Our graduate programs provide rigorous training within a supportive academic setting. The Biological Sciences Department conducts research spanning all levels of biological organization, from molecular mechanisms to population dynamics, with specialized focus on three key areas: gene expression regulation, sensory perception and developmental signaling pathways, and evolutionary genomics with population biology studies. Our program cultivates analytical reasoning alongside strong written and verbal communication abilities. Each student benefits from individualized faculty mentorship. We offer three specialized degree tracks tailored to prepare graduates for diverse career paths in scientific research, biological education, biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, or healthcare fields.
