The University at Buffalo's Nursing PhD program equips nurse scientists to: create innovative knowledge and theories; expand the evidence foundation for nursing and related fields; and share these insights through research, teaching, and leadership roles to influence healthcare policies, practices, and the nursing field. Qualification Requirements

  • Equivalent of a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Active U.S. RN license or foreign nursing license.
