The neuroscience program operates under the pharmacology and toxicology department. This program provides options for both a bachelor's degree and a minor concentration. As an interdisciplinary discipline, neuroscience enables students to understand the nervous system that governs all human actions and thought processes. Participants in this curriculum will explore brain functions and disorders using a comprehensive approach spanning molecular mechanisms to behavioral outcomes. Graduates earning a neuroscience bachelor's degree will gain strong qualifications for advanced studies in professional or graduate programs. Furthermore, they'll possess valuable skills to pursue careers in fields where neuroscience knowledge is increasingly important.
