As an undergraduate, you'll learn to use mathematical approaches, scientific principles, and engineering experimental methods to address intricate biological and medical challenges in both classroom and lab settings. The undergraduate program delivers essential knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, fundamental biology, and engineering. Core Biomedical Engineering courses offer practical, hands-on engineering experience incorporating design and modeling. You'll have opportunities to delve deeper into specific interests and participate in research, observing medical advancements transition from laboratory to clinical application.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
