Our educational approach combines performance and teaching opportunities to equip students for diverse careers in dance and related fields. At University at Buffalo - SUNY, our BA and BFA curricula offer thorough instruction in modern, ballet, tap, and jazz techniques, complemented by studies in choreography, teaching methods, body awareness practices, Laban Movement Analysis, dance history and theory, scholarly inquiry, dance anatomy, creative movement, musical theater dance, and partner dancing.
