The Legal Studies program caters to students fascinated by the philosophical, historical, social, and political foundations of law and America's legal frameworks, along with practical legal applications. Through their studies, students enhance their writing and analytical abilities, with options to earn academic credit through internships. This major appeals to aspiring law school candidates and those seeking careers in law enforcement, government, or nonprofit sectors.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
