A Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies offers undergraduates an in-depth exploration of Jewish philosophy, heritage, and traditions. Throughout history and across diverse cultures, Judaism has thrived in numerous forms. Recognizing this, the program investigates Judaism as an evolving, vibrant faith in context with other religions across ancient, medieval, modern, and contemporary eras. Students cultivate analytical skills to interpret religious, historical, and cultural phenomena using various scholarly approaches – valuable competencies for both academic pursuits and career advancement.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
