Pursuing a Major, Double Major, or Joint Major in Global Gender Studies equips students with enhanced critical thinking abilities, compelling writing techniques, sharp analytical skills, and broadened perspectives. The program fosters a deep awareness of our interconnected, multicultural society and empowers students to drive meaningful social transformation. The undergraduate curriculum explores three key domains: Cultures and Identities; Women and Global Citizenship; and Gender and Public Policy. These courses integrate both local and worldwide perspectives, connecting gender studies to historical contexts, literary works, and policy frameworks.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
