The Economics Department provides both BA and BS degree programs. The Bachelor of Arts in Economics caters to students aiming for immediate career entry or potential graduate studies in similar disciplines. Economics students are advised to complement their studies with courses from associated areas like English, political science, higher-level mathematics, and other social sciences. The department strongly suggests that learners seize all chances to investigate their preferred academic and professional directions.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
