The Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Program enables students to concentrate on specific thematic studies, exploring current and significant issues in our rapidly evolving society. With its interdisciplinary approach, students gain knowledge beyond conventional academic divisions by enrolling in courses from multiple university departments. The Cognitive Science major caters to those who wish to employ cross-disciplinary methods to comprehend mental functions in living beings and artificial systems, analyzed through computational frameworks and biological research.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. 
Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000, both overall and at the University at Buffalo
