This program focuses on leveraging visual arts as instruments to comprehend history and culture within their contexts. It provides diverse course options, internships, research projects, and independent study possibilities aimed at equipping students to navigate today's expansive and engaging visual landscape. Participants will analyze traditional art forms like painting, sculpture, and printmaking, as well as contemporary digital media that influence our visual and physical surroundings. By adopting a worldwide view of art history, students can explore thematic elements of visual and material culture—including style, patronage, mythology, storytelling, gender, sexuality, and race—through cross-border and intercultural lenses.
Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma.  If you have already completed secondary school, you need to submit both academic transcripts and proof of graduation with your application documents. Minimum Overall GPA 2.0
