The Master of Science in Computer Engineering program is designed to equip students with undergraduate degrees in computer or electrical engineering for advanced professional practice and doctoral studies. The University of Bridgeport's School of Engineering offers MS programs recognized by ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) degrees. This classification allows international graduates to qualify for 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), with the possibility of extending their work authorization for an additional 24 months if employed by an E-Verify registered company.
