The Master of Science in Acupuncture program aims to deliver training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that aligns with both evolving Asian traditions and the advancing U.S. healthcare system.
Students will have the chance to practice independently and collaboratively within the Health Sciences Center, enabling them to coordinate patient care alongside other healthcare professionals. This hands-on experience offers practical benefits before starting private practice. Acupuncture and TCM rank among the most esteemed healing disciplines worldwide, currently serving 25% of the global population. Their popularity has surged in the U.S. and Europe as the most rapidly expanding complementary medicine field. This recognition stems from TCM's dual distinction as both the oldest documented medical system and a therapy with proven clinical effectiveness.
