The Master of Science in Environmental Health Sciences is provided through the Division of Community, Environment, and Policy. This interdisciplinary program examines the vital connection between environmental and workplace exposures and their impact on human health. The MS degree caters to those pursuing specialized training in environmental health research. Graduates typically secure roles as project managers, program coordinators, and research specialists across academic institutions, government agencies, corporations, community organizations, and industrial sectors.
Each student collaborates with their Faculty Advisor to design their personalized curriculum. Completing the MS program generally takes about two years, which includes preparing and defending a research thesis. Successful MS graduates may transition into the PhD program upon degree completion.
