The Master of Public Health (MPH) is an interdisciplinary professional degree focused on public health. The MPH Program equips students with comprehensive knowledge and fundamental skills across core public health disciplines. Learners can develop expertise in specific fields through advanced studies while gaining hands-on experience addressing real-world health challenges during internship placements. This full-time program spans two years, with part-time options allowing up to six years for completion. The MPH curriculum and core course activities are shaped by defined competencies, which also inform prospective students, employers, and stakeholders about graduates' knowledge base and capabilities from the MEZCOPH MPH program.
The Biostatistics MPH specialization, administered by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, trains professionals to serve as biostatisticians across public health, epidemiological, and clinical research environments. This concentration fosters scientific collaboration across nearly all health-related fields. Biostatistics has significantly advanced our knowledge of critical health conditions including AIDS, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases.
