The University of Arizona has addressed increasing public and professional demand for water policy knowledge by creating a new Graduate Certificate in Water Policy. This program leverages the institution's globally recognized faculty and comprehensive water resources expertise.
UA's Water Policy Certificate provides both comprehensive coverage and specialized depth. Designed for two distinct yet complementary audiences—practicing professionals and UA graduate students—the program offers adaptable course options and scheduling to accommodate diverse educational needs.
This interdisciplinary initiative maintains consistent academic standards for all participants, though administrative processes vary between professional and graduate student applicants. While coursework primarily concentrates on Arizona and Southwestern U.S. water policy challenges, students may also explore national and global water policy matters.
