The Judaic Studies Graduate Certificate is an independent certification offered by The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies. This program aims to enrich graduate or professional students' education while also serving as professional development for working professionals. Graduates will gain comprehensive understanding of Jewish Culture across multiple facets and develop skills to situate Judaic Studies within broader academic contexts.

Qualification Requirements

Graduate Certificate students must possess a baccalaureate degree and must meet all University of Arizona Graduate College requirements. Concurrent enrollment in a degree program is allowed, but no more than six (6) units from that other degree program may be applied to this Certificate Program. Up to six (6) previously earned credits may be transferred from UA graduate courses taken under Non-Degree Status or from graduate courses taken at another accredited university or college. These credits may not have been earned more than two years prior to admission into the Graduate Certificate Program. The Graduate Program Director must approve all transfer courses, once they have been approved by UA Admissions and/or the Graduate College.

A minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale (to be awarded the program certificate, students must achieve at least a 3.0 graduate GPA).

Test of English as a Foreign Language(link is external) (TOEFL) - minimum score of 79 iBT (or 60 on the revised PBT with no section score lower than 15).
International English Language Testing System(link is external) (IELTS) - minimum composite score of 7, with no subject area below a 6
