Explore the great outdoors with a degree that extends learning beyond traditional classrooms, preparing you to protect global wildlife. The Wildlife Conservation and Management specialization within the Natural Resources Bachelor of Science program delves into animal ecology, covering their biology, interspecies and human interactions, and their physical and biological habitats. This program prepares students for careers as wildlife and fisheries biologists, enabling them to preserve biodiversity, restore endangered species, oversee harvested animal populations, conduct species monitoring, operate refuges and hatcheries, design research studies, combat invasive species, create computational models, and engage in public education. Graduates often secure roles as wildlife biologists with government agencies and conservation groups.
