Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with a Geophysics focus engage in a multidisciplinary exploration of Earth. This Geosciences program equips learners with core knowledge of geological principles, covering Earth's fundamental structure, key milestones in life's evolution, plate tectonics, the creation and significance of mineral resources, planetary transformation processes, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world. The curriculum fosters comprehension of Earth's internal dynamics and their interaction with surface phenomena, encompassing geodynamics, earthquake studies, crustal movements, magnetic fields, and volcanic activity, while teaching quantitative methods for analyzing and simulating diverse Earth systems.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
