Develop your trumpet performance skills through our Performance major, while acquiring ensemble experience and comprehensive musical training. The Fred Fox School of Music offers diverse performance opportunities in classical, jazz, marching, and mariachi styles for trumpet students. Those pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Trumpet focus refine their abilities through private instruction with actively performing faculty. Participants engage in orchestras, wind ensembles, jazz groups, combos, and various chamber ensembles. The curriculum covers essential music studies including literature, piano, conducting, and history. All music students can explore jazz-related courses like improvisation and arranging.
