The Social Behavior and Human Understanding track establishes foundational knowledge about social structures and individual-society dynamics. Course selections should foster skills in evaluating diverse viewpoints on sociocultural evolution and critically assessing opposing perspectives. The Emphasis mandates coursework from at least two distinct disciplines that cultivate awareness and understanding of differences across economic, political, religious, cultural, ethnic, and social demographics.
