The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a Photography, Video and Imaging specialization challenges students to deeply explore photographic representation's essence and significance in modern society. Participants cultivate a disciplined approach to creative exploration, refine their artistic perspective, and actively shape their professional growth as visual artists. This program adopts an innovative stance toward photographic practice, prompting students to critically examine and push the medium's conventional limits. The curriculum encompasses traditional darkroom methods, digital imaging technologies, color techniques, large-format photography, video production, and performance art.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Historical Context, Graduates will exhibit thorough knowledge of art history, current artistic trends, and theoretical frameworks - recognizing how these elements shape their creative output.
