Studying World Literature immerses you in diverse languages and cultures, building a strong base for careers both domestically and internationally. Those pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in World Literature develop high-level skills in at least one non-English language while enhancing their intercultural awareness. Through exploring both classical and contemporary works from around the world, students deepen their comprehension of human experiences and the unifying concepts that bridge societies. This interdisciplinary program combines resources from the university's College of Humanities and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Graduates are prepared for roles in fields like media, travel, global commerce, and other sectors that value culturally aware, compassionate professionals.
Students must have high school equivalent to USA and entry requirements vary from country to country. International applicants whose primary language is not English, or who attended school in a non-English speaking country, regardless of citizenship, must prove English proficiency. English proficiency may be proven by one or more of the following:
TOEFL iBT - 70
IELTS - 6.0
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - 53
IB (English A – Higher Level) - 5 or higher
Cambridge English Scale (C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency) - 169
Cambridge GCSE, O Level or higher (English) - C or higher
