Big data is transforming our global landscape. This program, administered by the Department of Mathematics, equips you to participate in the data-driven transformation. Whether pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Data Science, students gain robust mathematical fundamentals. The curriculum emphasizes data collection, management, processing, interpretation, and presentation through intensive study of probability, statistics, data science, and programming. Additionally, undergraduates must fulfill a minor requirement outside the mathematics department. Both degree paths enable graduates to advance to postgraduate studies or enter analytical professions in finance, risk evaluation, and various STEM-oriented sectors.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
