Transform the futures of bilingual children by pursuing an Elementary Education degree with a bilingual specialization. Teachers holding this bilingual qualification empower young learners to build strong academic foundations across key subjects. The two-year program awards both a Bachelor of Arts in Education and an Elementary Certificate K-8 with dual-language certification in English and Spanish, preparing graduates for bilingual, dual-language, or conventional classroom environments. Participants alternate between University of Arizona coursework and hands-on training at partner K-8 schools, where they develop Spanish fluency while working with linguistically diverse students. The program includes an optional international teaching experience in Mexico.
