Gain a thorough education in Arabic, encompassing language skills and cultural understanding of Arab societies, through one of the premier programs in the United States. Arabic studies expose students to the depth and significance of Arab heritage. This Bachelor of Arts program, provided by the School of Middle Eastern & North African Studies, serves as an ideal complementary major, equipping students for thriving global careers. While mastering Arabic—recognized as a crucial language for the U.S.—students also explore dialects like Moroccan and Egyptian. They further develop insights into Arab society, arts, and literature, with chances to study in Arabic-speaking nations. The University of Arizona stands among just five U.S. institutions chosen for the federally supported Arabic Flagship Program.
