Future residents of the Circumpolar North will encounter numerous One Health challenges - where human, animal, and environmental health intersect and depend on each other. Addressing these issues demands professionals well-versed in One Health principles. These professionals must be skilled at cross-cultural communication, capable of uniting diverse stakeholders and specialists, and adept at applying various problem-solving approaches to develop adaptive, resilient mitigation strategies.
UAF's Master in One Health Program offers specialized training and hands-on experience in these critical areas. This distinctive interdisciplinary program combines scientific knowledge with cultural understanding, historical context, communication skills, and other essential disciplines.
