The UAF Computer Art program provides undergraduate studies in 3D animation, digital video, and photography, along with graduate-level courses in 3D animation and digital design. Students can utilize computer labs in both the Fine Arts Complex and the Geophysical Institute. Several undergraduate classes are shared with Journalism and Film departments, creating a diverse blend of students from different disciplines. Those pursuing a BFA in Computer Art can specialize in areas like digital installations, illustrations, or 3D animation.
