The UAF Drawing Program provides the fundamental groundwork for all studio art studies. It focuses on developing representational drawing abilities while exploring both traditional and modern approaches, alongside abstract and conceptual techniques. Life Drawing classes alternate semesters. Additionally, the Department hosts weekly life drawing sessions accessible to all art students. Students can pursue Drawing as a primary or secondary focus for their B.F.A. or M.F.A. degrees.
