Qualification Requirements

A strong candidate for admission to the UAH Graduate School typically meets the following standards:
• A bachelor's degree, or equivalent, from an approved institution
• A minimum grade point average of a 3.0 on the undergraduate record
Unofficial undergraduate transcripts may be used for admissions consideration and should be uploaded directly to Charger Status.

TOEFL: all sub-scores greater than or equal to 18 OR
IELTS: all sub-scores greater than or equal to 6.0
Students should have an appropriate foundation with at least two semesters of calculus, two semesters of physics, an introductory course in computer programming, and preferably chemistry before entering the program.
