The Orientation and Mobility specialization prepares professionals to teach independent travel skills to students with visual impairments or deafblindness. This curriculum blends theoretical knowledge, research methods, and hands-on training to develop competent practitioners. The program aligns with ACVREP's Orientation and Mobility standards and clinical competencies. Graduates who complete both coursework and internship requirements become eligible to take the COMS certification exam.
