The Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering equips students to enhance and streamline intricate systems and processes. Graduates gain expertise in creating, refining, deploying, and assessing comprehensive systems involving people, finances, knowledge, data, equipment, energy, and materials. This is achieved through analysis, synthesis, and the application of mathematical, physical, and social sciences, alongside engineering design principles, to define, forecast, and assess outcomes from these systems.
Our undergraduate program starts by introducing the core principles of engineering and the humanities essential for a well-rounded university education. The coursework then transitions to the specialized industrial and systems engineering knowledge required for thriving careers in industry, government, or academic settings.
Upon graduation, you will be ready to: apply your diverse educational background, ethical reasoning, and systems perspective to make a beneficial community impact, leverage fundamental engineering skills, effectively employ industrial engineering techniques to analyze, design, and implement integrated systems, adopt teamwork, leadership, and constructive communication strategies to enhance workplace effectiveness, and pursue continuous learning throughout your career.
