At UAH, psychology students can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, which includes core curriculum, specialized psychology coursework, and a complementary minor outside the psychology field.
Our curriculum fosters scientific approaches to psychological study. Students begin with a foundational two-course introduction (PY 101 and 102) covering psychology's diverse subfields. Beyond mandatory classes, learners can personalize their education by choosing electives that align with their interests, guided by faculty advisors. The program offers courses spanning both social science and natural science perspectives in psychology.
