The Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language immerses students in the study of their chosen language, encompassing its culture, literature, and practical applications. Students can pursue concentrations in education, specific languages (French, German, Russian, or Spanish), or international trade (also available in French, German, Russian, or Spanish).
Mastering a language and developing cultural awareness gives students a competitive edge in our increasingly globalized workforce. Our department provides degree programs in widely spoken languages like French, German, Russian, and Spanish, along with courses in Arabic and Japanese. UAH graduates emerge not just with linguistic proficiency but with enhanced cultural understanding, preparing them to engage meaningfully in our interconnected world. From majors and minors to certificates or individual courses, we offer flexible pathways to align with your aspirations.
