Transitioning from your bachelor's to a master's in engineering while nurturing your entrepreneurial spirit? UAB's engineering management degree equips you with the leadership skills to excel in your professional journey.

This program was born from a recurring industry insight: many engineers lack crucial management training. That's why we collaborated between our engineering faculty and Collat School of Business to create a specialized curriculum for engineers. Our dual focus is straightforward: master engineering principles and business fundamentals. For engineering expertise, you'll explore a systems-based, interdisciplinary approach to tackle intricate challenges through courses like technical project management, engineering career advancement, and cutting-edge materials science. On the business side, you'll cultivate vital skills in strategic decision-making, financial literacy, and professional ethics with coursework spanning marketing, accounting, and corporate finance. Ultimately, you'll gain comprehensive knowledge spanning both technical engineering and contemporary business practices.
