With these objectives, we've crafted a curriculum that equips you for careers in both industry and academia. Your 51-credit program will encompass Engineering Analysis, Quantitative Physiology, Principles of Scientific Integrity, a mandatory biostatistics course, and three semesters of biomedical engineering seminars. You'll also select electives in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or mathematics. Additionally, you'll develop and defend a dissertation while publishing a minimum of three first-author research papers. As a PhD candidate, you'll benefit from our cutting-edge facilities for conducting experiments, running computer simulations, and developing laboratory projects.
