The School of Music provides Master of Music (MM) programs with specializations in composition (including an arranging focus), conducting (both wind and choral), musicology, performance, and music theory.
As an accredited institution under the National Association of Schools of Music, the School adheres to all NASM standards. Doctoral studies are available through the Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) program, with focus areas in composition, performance, choral conducting, and wind conducting. Qualification Requirements
Each international applicant must hold the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution to be eligible for graduate admission. While individual departments may have more stringent requirements, bachelor degrees from Bologna Accord certified institutions are considered to meet this criterion. We do also consider Indian three-year degrees to be equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree.
