The Law School collaborates with the Political Science and Economics Departments to enable Ph.D. candidates in these fields to enroll simultaneously in both their department and the Law School. During the first year, students focus solely on law courses, followed by at least one year dedicated entirely to graduate studies in political science or economics. Subsequent years involve coursework from both disciplines. Certain classes are pre-approved for dual credit by both the Law School and the respective departments, reducing the total time required to earn both degrees compared to pursuing them separately. Admission to the dual enrollment program requires independent acceptance into both programs.
